Facade System : Woodfac Panel

In 2020, DLG moved from Axelborg in Copenhagen to a large new headquarters in Fredericia.

While the building features a mix of high quality materials, the entrance area stands out with the Woodfac Panel solution. For this facade, 34x34mm Thermo D-Ayous lamellae were selected, offering a warm, refined appearance with an almost knot-free surface. The thermal treatment enhances durability, dimensional stability and resistance by lowering the wood's moisture content. Combined with the clean structure of the lamellae and the design flexibility of the system, the entrance achieves a distinctive, long-lasting architectural expression.
