Facade System : Woodfac Click

Nordisk Profil supplied a refined Woodfac Click facade with Accoya lamellae for Horsens Regional Hospital. As an open facade system, Woodfac Click allows the building's load-bearing structure to remain visible between the lamellae, creating a lively architectural expression shaped by light, shadow and material texture. 

For this project, Accoya lamellae measuring 34x85mm were installed using two centre-to-centre spacings (79.5mm and 159mm) to create a varied and dynamic rhythm across the facade. Accoya is an exclusive and highly sustainable timber choice, known for its exceptional durability, stability and fast-growing source material, making it a strong alternative to thermally modified pine.
